Slanted-pole Design

The R12 motor incorporates cutting-edge technology derived from the R21 base, utilizing a unique slanted-pole design. The rotor is intelligently segmented into three sections with precisely calculated angles, resulting in a revolutionary motor design that significantly reduces cogging torque, torque ripple, electromagnetic vibration, and noise levels compared to conventional motors. With its innovative design, the R12 motor runs seamlessly and quietly, offering unparalleled smoothness and minimal noise and vibration during operation.

The Maximum & Minimum design philosophy

The R12 DD base is designed with a high-slot fill rate, utilizing high-permeability magnetic cores and high-strength neodymium iron boron magnets to achieve high energy and low current density characteristics. With its compact body and low power consumption, it delivers maximum torque output, significantly enhancing convenience and temperature control performance.

Ultra-low torque Ripple

The motor in the R12 DD base utilizes a 18-slot, 16-pole high-slot design, which features the highest number of poles in its class. This design results in ultra-low torque ripple and exceptional shock absorption performance, delivering a smooth and seamless steering experience.

Wide high-torque speed range

MOZA Pit House Control Software

Pit House is MOZA Racing's command center and allows full customization and fine tuning of your MOZA devices. With just a single click, you can launch the game directly from the Pit House software and seamlessly configure it to obtain telemetry data. The software also lets you synchronize the rpm lights and dash display effortlessly. The interface of MOZA Pit House is not only intuitive but also aesthetically pleasing, making it an excellent tool for any racing enthusiast.

With presets and easy to understand settings recommended by Moza Racing, as well as numerous professional sim racers, beginners can enjoy a plug and play experience catered for many popular racing titles.

To allow full customization and optimisation, we offer up to 15 force feedback-related adjustment options, such as mechanical friction and road feel sensitivity, etc. Furthermore, we provide explanations on the correlation between each parameter and the respective feeling next to each option.

With MOZA's revolutionary force feedback curve adjustment feature, the relationship between force feedback input and output can now be made non-linear resulting in a much more dynamic force feedback output from the base. This means for example that during under or oversteer situations the force feedback can be intensified enabling the driver to easily perceive any loss of vehicle control and drive with greater confidence at the limit. This first-of-its-kind function by MOZA has completely transformed the way we experience force feedback in Direct Drive wheelbases.

MOZA's FFB equalizer allows full customization and fine-tuning of the FFB effects spectrum for a perfect setup in any conditions.

In MOZA Pit House, you can configure the double-clutch paddles, knobs, joysticks, rpm lights, etc. of the steering wheel including the clutch engagement point of the paddles, the rotary dial mode, the color of the rpm lights, the relationship between the rpm timing and engine speed, the brightness of buttons and rpm lights, etc.

In the pedal settings page, adjust pedal travel, output curve, pressure sensing intervention point, and more, allowing you to quickly master the correct braking techniques and effectively improve lap times.

With one-click updating, you can quickly and easily update Pit House and your devices to the latest versions and firmware, ensuring an optimum overall user experience.

Hand-off Protection

This function can effectively avoid the risk of injury and quickly help restore control by detecting that hands are off the wheel. Once activated, it will quickly stop any oscillation and safely center the wheel.
