I brought this to add to my sim racing rig that I use predominantly for Forza on XBox.
Not too hard to setup, although once I installed the NLR software and drivers, I switched to Simhub.
It gives decent feedback, from light vibrations to decent thumps.
I brought it over a butt kicker as I needed something quiet as I play at night, and this is almost silent.
The only complaints I have is that it is more designed for a gaming chair, in terms of its straps and ergonomics. Which and make it a bit more difficult to put into place and keep in place in a bucket seat, it's also reasonably thick, so it will make you sit slightly higher and further forward.
Comfort wise, you can feel the motors, depending on what parts your sit on and the faux leather cover can get hot and sweaty.
Would happily recommend to someone looking to add to their sim racing emersion.
I know it’s a bit of coin to spend but what an immersive bit of kit. The software isn’t there yet but simhub is definitely the go to for setting it up and it’s super easy. The quality is superb and it actually made my race seat more comfortable when I removed the padding (from the seat). Next level have done an awesome job. If you’ve got the cash don’t hesitate.
As the title states, I am still testing the produce. So far i am not impressed with it.
1. Had trouble with leads that go into the pad, turning the power off and on. I had to strap them to the arm of the chair to stop any movement.
2. So far there is only setting that I can feel, that makes a difference and that is the throttle.
3. The program for changing the settings is very user friendly.
In conclusion, at this stage I do not think is is worth $500 New Zealand dollars.
Quick delivery, well packaged and very reasonably priced. Very easy to set up but was unable to get software to work so am using simhub instead.
After some tinkering with settings I am super happy as it really adds to immersion.
Super comfy to sit on
Over all cool product, only issue is it some times does not work on "assetto corsa", works well on iracing, software could use some updates and refining, hoping for some updates to sort any bugs

COMPATIBLE WITH PC, SUPPORTS CONSOLE

With a direct connection through USB for PC and a 3.5mm audio jack connection to console/audio devices, the HF8 ensures fast, low latency feedback through the eight localized haptic motors. For console users the haptic feedback is felt through all eight haptic vibration zones simultaneously.
In-game telemetry data* for PC games and sound output for console games, provide an immersive experience for racing, First Person Shooter (FPS), and flight.
*PlayStation does not have a dual audio output option, making the use of Bluetooth headsets on PlayStation not compatible when using the HF8 Gaming Pad. The HF8 Gaming Pad must be connected to the PlayStation controller via the 3.5mm audio jack.

No hassle, just download and play the included Next Level Racing® Haptic Feedback Software. Designed and developed specifically for the HF8, you can interact with a growing list of racing and flight titles.
The Next Level Racing® HFS included PC software makes it seamless for users to enhance the experience with the HF8 Gaming Pad controlling each motor independently. As one of many variations, you can have 4 motors controlling effects of tyres to feel rumble strips independently or have all 8 motors giving vibration for gear changes.
You can interact with ready to use haptic profiles or create your own for each gaming title, and even share your profile with the gaming community. List of compatible games.
