Moza HMA150, from $6,499.99
Worth noting here: the Moza HMA150 is marketed as a "haptic motion actuator," but despite the name it isn't a haptic device in the ButtKicker sense, it's a four-actuator motion platform, delivering real pitch, roll and heave movement rather than surface vibration. With up to 150mm of actuator travel, 300mm/s of speed and over 1G of acceleration, it sits functionally closer to an entry-level NLR motion platform than to any bass-shaker setup, just built around Moza's own actuator hardware instead of NLR's.
It supports native telemetry from major sims plus Moza's AI Motion software for titles without native support. At $6,499.99 it lands well above ButtKicker pricing and roughly in line with a compact motion platform, so it's really a "which motion platform" decision rather than a "motion vs haptics" one.
What Haptics Do Instead
Haptics don't move anything. Transducers mounted to your seat or rig convert the low-frequency parts of the game's audio, engine rumble, road texture, and kerb strikes, into vibrations you feel rather than hear.
