Before touching a single game, get the base talking properly through Pit House itself. Torque Limit sets the hard ceiling your motor can output, and it should sit below your comfortable maximum for a full stint length, rather than a five-lap sprint. Damping, Natural Inertia and Mechanical Friction smooth the wheel around centre and calm violent kerb spikes; used too heavily, they mute the same detail you bought a direct drive base to feel. iRacing's laser-scanned tracks and mature physics model reward a firm, stable setup rather than a heavily filtered one. The catch is that iRacing runs its own in-game force feedback strength on top of whatever Pit House delivers, so setting both to maximum just clips the signal and flattens every heavy load into the same dull thud. Set Torque Limit in Pit House to a level you can hold through a full stint, keep Natural Inertia and Damping light since iRacing's own model is already well resolved, and bring the in-game strength down until kerbs and weight transfer stop feeling identical. Keep Speed-Depending Damping modest so the wheel doesn't go artificially light at pace, and build your profile around a full stint at a track with heavy kerbs, such as Spa, rather than a clean qualifying lap.
Moza Pit House Le Mans Ultimate Settings
Le Mans Ultimate is built by Studio 397 (the studio behind rFactor 2) using an evolved version of that engine. Multi-hour stints in Hypercar or LMP2 mean comfort matters as much as detail, so lean on Mechanical Friction slightly more than you would in a sprint title to stop your arms from fatiguing before your fuel does. Le Mans Ultimate reached its full v1.0 release in July 2025 and continues to receive active content updates, so treat any profile as a starting point to revisit after major patches.
Getting the Rest of the Rig to Match
A well-tuned wheelbase still needs pedals and a rim that suit how you race.
