Great upgrade from a t300 and great service! Highly recommend

I was skeptic towards how much this would outperform my t300, in my mind the t300 was already a very capable wheel. I was mostly interested in faster rotation speed for drifting from the larger motor. My scepticism arose given the aggressive marketing by Moza and the lack of unbiased reviews. I was wrong.

I have not tried its (more expensive) competition (simmagic alpha mini as Fanatec is not available in NZ), however, I can say that this is significantly better than the t300. Not just the strength, but the fidelity of the force is substantial. With drifting, the force is more nuanced than just the pull of the caster and the lightness of the understeer, but extremely variable within both and also without. Light changes in force telling you how your car is responding in ways not detectable with the t300. The speed of rotation also allows for much more aggressive and competitive driving.

For racing, every bump is felt with extremely high detail, and at 9nm, while that's not the whopping numbers of some high-end wheels, is at the very limit of what would be comfortable to use mounted on a desk (like me), I drift with it at 40-60% power which is still enough to injure my fingers if they get in the way of the spokes because of the inertia it can produce. Besides, most people with high-end DD wheels are running them at half power most of the time anyway, look at setup chats on forums for proof.

I can't comment on speed nations returns policies etc, though should not really be concerned since they are bound by the CGA (1993). However, my order was processed and sent very quickly, much quicker than I have experienced from big retailers. My unit was also fairly new stock which is nice.

I got this after years of using a T300RS, and my god its such a huge jump in fidelity and feel that I can't believe I was playing without it for all this time. Worth the price bump in every way. Absolutely cannot recommend this enough.
